The EMC-612-T-S2 is a 6" x 12" electromagnetic magnetic sine plate chuck from Suburban Tool, built with transverse (crosswise) poles to hold parts that are wider than they are long. It bolts directly, with little or no indicating, to an S2-series SineSet sine plate or compound sine plate of the same size for repeatable compound-angle surface grinding and toolroom setups.

  • Top plate is laminated from 1/8" steel and 1/16" stainless steel, then furnace-brazed into one solid, rigid piece.
  • Fully sealed against dirt and liquids for reliable service on the grinder.
  • Transverse pole layout matched to the size and shape of the part being held.
  • Two rails are included for positive part location and workholding.
  • Requires Suburban Tool chuck controls, which must be used with all electromagnetic chucks.
  • Made in the USA by Suburban Tool
