MAGNETIC LIFT SAFETY
F Never stand under a load being lifted.

F Always use extra caution.

F Only use magnetic lifts on material that doesn't flex or bend.

F The surface of the lift and the load need to be clean and free of chips, oil, slag, dirt, etc.

F Not recommended for painted or finish coated surfaces.

F Two or more lifts are required, when lifting sheets over 8 feet long.
DERATING FACTORS

F Thin work piece - derate by 25% at 3/4" and 65% at 1/4" material thickness.

F Rust or scale on surface of work piece - derate by 25%.

F Irregular or rough surface - derate by 50%.

F High carbon, high chromium or cast iron material - derate by 50%.
